Shortlisted charities can win one of four cash prizes as part of the campaign

SPAR Scotland’s Community Cashback campaign is back for a second time.

The campaign aims to donate £30,000 to community groups and causes.

Nominations will be collected in Spar stores in Scotland, with the top 24 organisations entered into a draw to each win one of four cash prizes.

Colin McLean, chief executive of Spar Scotland wholesaler CJ Lang, said: “We received such a great response to our first ever Community Cashback campaign that we felt obliged to do it again to support small local groups who have been affected by the pandemic. It is very important that we continue to give back to the local communities and customers who support our stores.”

Nominations must be submitted to Spar stores before 28 March and prizes will be distributed to the winning charities at the end of May. Shortlisting for the campaign will take place between 12 April and 9 May.
