Free food distribution scheduled today | News, Sports, Jobs


A Farmers to Families Food Box Distribution is being held today at Kalix, 605 27th St. SE, Minot.

The event runs from 2 to 5 p.m. or until the 1,200 free food boxes are gone. One box is allowed per household. Boxes weigh about 30 pounds and include a gallon of milk, meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables and other items. There is no paperwork to complete, and volunteers will load boxes into vehicles.

The event is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, CityServe and The Lord’s Cupboard Food Pantry in Minot.
