Volvo Malaysia Cuts The Middle-Man, Extends Factory Warranty To Five Years | BTW

If somehow your pen mysteriously falls out of your hand just as you’re about to book a Volvo, then knowing this might help. Volvo Malaysia has dropped the additional two-year/20,000km Extended Warranty Programme (EWP) offered by an external insurance partner favouring a full-fledged factory warranty.

Now, every privately-owned Volvo registered from 1 January 2021 will come with a five-year/unlimited mileage factory warranty. The change over costs nothing, and owners can still expect the same level of service expected of a premium car brand.

The factory-warranty perfectly complements the extended battery warranty offered in December 2020. This brings the high-voltage battery warranty up to eight years or 160,000km, whichever comes first.

Suddenly, the S90 T8 looks even better, doesn’t it?
