VA Implements CGI-Made Product for Financial, Procurement Management

CGI Momentum

The Department of Veterans Affairs has adopted a CGI-made enterprise platform as part of a program intended to modernize the department’s procurement and financial operations.

VA implemented CGI’s Momentum, a system designed to help agencies manage procurement, budgeting, assets and finances, in support of the department’s Financial Management Business Transformation program, CGI said Wednesday.

The initiative’s initial implementation took place at VA’s National Cemetery Administration and is planned to reach the department’s health and benefits administrations within seven years.

“CGI is honored to be part of the FMBT program that transforms the way VA responds to Veterans’ needs through an accessible and transparent management system,” said Stephanie Mango, senior vice president at CGI.

CGI designed and developed Momentum exclusively for federal government agencies.
