DB Schenker resumes freight to UK – DHL suspends some freight in the other direction

Less than a week after logistics company DB Schenker temporarily halted freight from the EU to the UK, the company is now ready to ship goods again.

The transition phase following Brexit expired at the turn of the year, and the new customs regulations and accompanying paperwork subsequently proved more comprehensive and challenging than anticipated. As a result, DB Schenker temporarily shut down freight services until it had control of its processes again.
