Northrop Grumman

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has secured a potential $163.7M contract to help the U.S. Air Force manage the supply chain of surveillance radars designed for use on the service branch’s Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft.

The APY-1/2 supply chain management contract will involve engineering, repair and spares sustainment work, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Services under the sole-source award will take place in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, through Sept. 9, 2028.

USAF uses the Boeing-built (NYSE: BA) E-3 Sentry AWACS for battlespace management, airborne surveillance and communications. The aircraft is a modified version of Boeing 707/320 and equipped with a rotating radar dome.
