Extreme market out of China has DSV chartering ships and containers: “Extraordinary”

The extreme situation in the container market in recent months with sky-high rates and container shortages now has Danish transport and logistics group DSV Panalpina opting for unconventional methods.

In a remarkable move, DSV Panalpina now sidesteps shipping lines to instead charter vessels and lease boxes in order to safeguard its customers’ freights from China to Denmark in December, confirms DSV Panalpina in a comment to ShippingWatch.
