Need more face masks? Here’s a distribution in Redlands – Press Enterprise

Ford Motor Company Fund is teaming up with nonprofits and Ford dealerships throughout California to distribute more than 4 million medical-grade face masks Friday, Nov. 20.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside’s Hansberger Clubhouse in Redlands will be one of the distribution sites, according to a news release.

People are invited to stop by the clubhouse at 1251 Clay St. between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. to pick up 20 disposable face masks, while supplies last.

Ford dealerships in the area that are also distributing masks include Ken Grody Ford, 1121 W. Colton Ave., Redlands; Fairview Ford, 292 N. G St., San Bernardino; and Raceway Ford, 5900 Sycamore Canyon Blvd., Riverside.

Ford has produced hundreds of thousands of face shields for hospitals and first responders since March, according to the news release.

The company’s Project Apollo is targeting production of 100 million medical-grade masks through 2021, and the masks are being distributed through Ford Fund to nonprofit partners, state and local officials, schools, community groups and dealerships across the country
