QUINCY (WGEM) — The Yum Factory located in Downtown Quincy will be opening a new location at 25th and Broadway in the coming months.
With COVID-19 pushing most of their wedding arrangements further back from the summer into the fall, owner Melanie Aitken decided to test the waters by opening a second location to handle the business.
“We are kind of toying with the idea of which to do right now.” Aitken said. “Right now we have the option. So if we can get that one open earlier we’ll probably run both of them through the end of the year. And just kinda see how the logistics of that are. My head might explode and that may not work. Maybe one place is better. We’re gonna see how it goes.”
Aitken also asks that the community stays updated on the Yum Factory’s Facebook page to stay in the loop on the new things to come once their new location opens.
