Volunteers needed for North Nashville cleanup, food distribution this weekend

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee is seeking volunteers to help with continued tornado cleanup and food distribution in North Nashville this weekend.

On Saturday, the organization will be helping in areas of the neighborhood that were impacted by the tornado on March 3.

Volunteers will meet at Gideon’s Army headquarters at 600 28th Ave. N. for training.

Small groups of volunteers will either assist with lunchtime food distribution or with a community cleanup by picking up trash, removing storm debris or other cleanup needs.
