- The Franklin Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man on the run from police. Police say the man pictured fled from officers in Cool Springs, driving a stolen 2017 gray Honda Accord. The suspect is wanted on multiple charges, and there is a cash reward for information leading to his identity. (WKRN News 2)
- New elevated dining and shopping experiences are coming to historic Franklin after a major renovation at The Factory at Franklin. The renovations, set to begin in 2022, will create a curated shopping, dining, and entertainment experience, interspersed with modern offices. This new visioning of The Factory will bring an upscale second life Βto an already-iconic Franklin location, which was originally built in 1929. (The Chattanoogan)
- The Franklin Band is celebrating a successful performance at this year’s Bands of America (BOA) Grand National Championships last month. In a field of 98 high schools from across the country, the Franklin Band’s halftime show “Lucy!” earned a fourth-place finish in the Class AAA division and a 20th rank overall.
